The name Lotus arises both in nature and in the automotive world.

The name is the starting point of a special experiment: a mix of nature and machine. This experiment brings together these two extremes. The artwork has features of both worlds. The result is the artwork LOTUS.

With the background as a recycling artist and a fascination with transparency and light Eddy Kaijser (Studio ID Eddy) has made an installation that realizes an aesthetic and poetic space.

The lotus is in nature truly one of the most unusual plants. The structure of this plant is the inspiration for the shape of the artwork. From the machine, the car, other functions are used. The light system of the car is abstracted into a light show.

The structure of the work consists of 90% re-cycled materials.
