STATUS: CONCEPT
Inverse Vortex takes you into a play of shape, water and light.
Inverse Vortex is a concept that reminds you of a fairytale in which vortexes live life like mushrooms. The vortexes are positioned in a circle, the way mushrooms usually grow. In the circles you find big and small vortexes. It shows the cycle of life. The big vortexes are mature, the small are young. The waterhole in the circle, at ground level, is a remain of the origin of the first vortex.
The vortex is transparant. Inside is water which creates a real vortex. When the sunlight shines through the art piece an exciting light show will be visible
Normally a vortex can only exist in the water. But in circles the vortex is isolated from its surroundings (water) and placed in a totally different environment (air).
If it were placed in a park it would serve as an artistic fountain, only this time the water runs the other way around.
